A place of stones and sky, nature, humanity and art. An ancient village of trulli and a masseria nestled in a heart-shaped courtyard. A creative couple that has been taking care of it.
A two-century-old stone village and a creative couple that since 2003 has tended it, built it, rewritten it. From that same hand, in that same place, came the rooms, a publishing house, a gallery that changes its work every week, a digital heart that reads the planet's emotions, and many other ideas. Not much to explain, but everything to notice. Look closely: there's always a surprise.
You learn it as a child, and forget it as you grow up. LoJazzo is a gentle invitation to remember it.

From the sky, the courtyard is shaped like a heart. The walkways crossing it are a landscape-art installation, Arterie (2019), designed to bring out its anatomy. It is a work you walk on: you cross it every time you explore. Without knowing it, you are the one who makes the heart beat. From this shape theHeartAI was born, the digital heart that senses the world's emotions and has been shown in many venues, from Expo Osaka to the Royal Library of Rabat. Masseria LoJazzo lies in the geographic heart of Puglia, halfway between the Ionian and the Adriatic: from here, everything is an hour away at most.
The Heart shaped Court →You land in Brindisi or Bari, and the last stretch is by car, between olive trees and dry-stone walls. Ceglie, the Messapians' ancient Kailìa, is four kilometres away: an hour on foot, for those who want to walk there.

At the Jazzo, things are born all the time. Once a month you see them first: the new work in CHORA, a poem, a work in the making.
